IMV RELEASES NEW “BEHIND THE PLAYER” DVD
FEATURING DIMMU BORGIR– A NORWEGIAN BLACK METAL BAND

LOS ANGELES, CA — February 17, 2009 — IMV LLC announces the release of a new Interactive Music Video featuring guitarists Thomas Rune Andersen (Galder) and Sven Atle Kopperud (Silenoz) from the legendary black metal band from Norway, Dimmu Borgir. Their blistering twin-guitar style and unique symphonic sound has established them as one of today's most visionary bands.

The IMV: Behind the Player DVD series -- which features personal music lessons from members of some of the world’s most influential bands like KoRn, Godsmack, Ozzy Osbourne, Slipknot, Atreyu and Velvet Revolver -- provides music fans with an exciting new way to learn to play their favorite songs; right from the artists that recorded them.

In their IMV: Behind the Player DVD, Galder and Silenoz provide an intimate behind-the scenes look at their lives as professional musicians – including rare photos and video footage. They give in-depth lessons for how to play “The Serpentine Offering” by Dimmu Borgir and “The Chosen Legacy” by Dimmu Borgir; then jam the tracks with guest drummer Gene Hoglan.

The DVD also includes exclusive VideoTab™, which was transcribed in collaboration with Galder and Silenoz, shows exactly how they play their parts in two tracks. The video-game-style animated tablature is similar to GuitarHero®, except shows how to play the tracks for real.

“These Behind the Player DVD’s are a great way for people to learn how to play the songs they like,” said Galder, “There is so much speculation out there about how we play these songs,” said Silenoz, “Now our fans can find out how we play them – well most of the time that is…”
